Clermont School of Business honored in Beijing for its commitment to Franco-Chinese cooperation
On September 20, Clermont School of Business had the honor of receiving the Sino-French Innovation and Partnership Award at the annual Gala of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (CCI France Chine), held in Beijing. This major event for the Franco-Chinese business community took place at the Hyatt Regency Wangjing, bringing together more than 500 guests: business leaders, institutional representatives, diplomats, and members of the academic world.
A prestigious award for exemplary Franco-Chinese cooperation
Under the theme “France & China, Innovating Together”, the 2025 edition of the Gala spotlighted innovation, cooperation, and economic dialogue between the two countries. The evening alternated inspiring speeches, a gourmet French dinner, and a concert by the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, before culminating with the 2025 Awards ceremony, which honors key successes in bilateral cooperation each year.
Awarded to Clermont School of Business, the Sino-French Innovation and Partnership Award recognizes sustainable academic and economic collaborations between France and China. The distinction rewards joint projects that have achieved tangible results and strengthened ties between institutions and companies in both countries.
This year, four major categories were recognized:
- Sino-French Innovation and Partnership Award: for joint projects that strengthened economic, technological, and academic cooperation.
- Innovative SME Excellence Award: for small and medium-sized enterprises with impactful and innovative models.
- DEI Excellence Award (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion): for organizations placing inclusion and equality at the core of their strategy.
- Eco-Innovation and Circular Economy Award: for organizations committed to sustainable transition.
Receiving this award is a prestigious acknowledgment of Clermont School of Business’s role in developing sustainable and innovative partnerships between France and China. It also highlights our commitment to training talents capable of thriving in an international environment.
International visibility and strengthened impact
This distinction, which coincides with the official opening of the School’s Shanghai campus, provides exceptional visibility within the Franco-Chinese economic and institutional community. Indeed, Gala laureates benefit from wide media coverage, institutional visibility, and access to a network of over 500 international decision-makers and partners.
Clermont School of Business had the privilege of being featured alongside many leading companies recognized for their commitment to bilateral cooperation, including Accor, Airbus, Crédit Agricole CIB, Danone, Decathlon, EDF, Servier, Société Générale, Schneider Electric, Thales, and Total Energies.
A shared ambition: innovating together to build the future
This award reaffirms Clermont School of Business’s position as an internationally engaged academic institution, driven by an open and collaborative vision. It reflects the vitality of the Franco-Chinese partnership and the shared commitment to turning challenges into opportunities through innovation, dialogue, and education.
Innovating together to build the future: an ambition that unites France and China, and one to which Clermont School of Business actively contributes.
