  • Why study abroad?
  • Which destination to choose?

Do you want to study abroad?

From the Bachelor’s degree onwards, students at Clermont School of Business have the opportunity to undertake several study periods abroad and thus gain solid international experience.

To enable as many students as possible to go abroad, the School relies on a network of over 115 partner universities worldwide. Selected for the quality of their teaching, these universities offer numerous specializations, allowing selected students to continue their learning and deepen their favorite subjects.

When to study abroad?

At Clermont School of Business, we encourage all our students to spend a year or semester abroad, or even to undertake an internship or gap year in a non-French-speaking country to practice a foreign language and gain autonomy and open-mindedness.

Do you want to go abroad during your studies? To realize this project, you will need to complete several steps and prove a sufficient language level corresponding to the desired destination. Do not hesitate to contact the International Relations Department to learn more about the key steps of your procedures and applications.

Good to know: The procedures for studying abroad generally begin a year before the departure date and are the subject of information meetings at the start of each semester.

SUMMER SCHOOL IN 1ST YEAR

The Summer School is a mandatory experience offered at the end of the first year, allowing students to spend 2 to 3 weeks at a university to prepare for the TOEFL. This departure is intended for all students and constitutes a first immersion with one of our partners abroad.

TOEFL preparation can also be done, under certain conditions, during an intensive course in France with CAVILAM.

During the Bachelor’s program, a full year abroad is possible only within the framework of a double degree. In other cases, the university exchange with the partner is only for one semester. Consequently, the destinations may vary depending on the duration and purpose of the stay. For a departure at the beginning of the third year of the Bachelor’s degree, applications open in January of the previous year.
