The School has more than 100 partnership agreements with various universities around the world. Whatever the language or skill you are looking for, the options are numerous and there is bound to be an offer that suits you. Double degree or semester courses… with no additional study costs.
Of these partners, more than a quarter are internationally accredited, just like the School!
What’s more, the School can help you obtain national scholarships (notably Erasmus+) or an international mobility scholarship from the Clermont School of Business Foundation.
…
The School offers one of the best teacher-to-student ratios in CGE member management schools. With 45 teacher-researchers in various disciplines, almost all of whom have a PhD, and nearly 300 professionals regularly involved in the courses, our pedagogy is quite simply that of common sense…
It alternates the acquisition of knowledge with practical application or situations (with group work or “business games” type work), which is also commonly known as “learning by doing”.
Finally, it affirms the preference for face-to-face courses rather than distance or e-learning, since they generally allow a better quality of interaction between students and teachers.
Specializations offered to students are construed by a dedicated steering committee, in collaboration with partner companies so that students can acquire the skills required in a fast evolving global business world.
Students may opt to study one of our Master of Sciences below during the final year and obtain both the Master in Management degree and an MSc.
Students can also opt to follow one of three postgraduate 2-year specialisation programmes:
We believe that acquiring professional experiences throughout the educational course is vital for:
Students carry out a 3–month managerial internship in the first year. The second semester of the second and final year is dedicated to another executive internship, granting students the opportunity to build on their business experience and acquire managerial skills.
Students on the Master in Management programme have the possibility to take a gap year between the first and final year of the programme to extend their internship period or work placement and consolidate their expertise in management.
During this gap year, students can alternatively choose to study at a partner university abroad to specialize in a wide variety of fields: sciences, art, social sciences, fashion, cuisine… This study period abroad allows students to acquire further skills besides a managerial expertise in order to enhance career prospects, language ability and interpersonal competencies.
Students can also do an apprenticeship that allow for a mixture between studying and working inside a company, providing a unique opportunity to combine academia and professional experience. Apprenticeships are possible only during the second year of the Master programme.
There is a dedicated career service which accompanies the students throughout their duration of the programme to build their career path while providing them with all the necessary tools, techniques and to secure the internships during the study period and work placements after finishing the programme.
Support given by the career service in terms of:
Groupe ESC Clermont-Auvergne’s Alumni Association offers alumni support to facilitate job searches and career management. Right from when students enter the School, and after graduation and throughout careers, the Alumni Association supports students and graduates according to the School’s motto “School for Life” and its own individual motto “Link up for Life”. Services include:
Students who choose to continue their studies for more business specialisation can turn to a Master of Sciences or a Specialised Master. There is also a pre-doctoral scholarship supported by the Clermont School of Business Foundation to allow a small number of students to train in research in the 3rd year of the Programme Grande Ecole and to subsequently access a PhD in Management Sciences via the ClerMa lab.
