+ 1000h hours of classes per year dedicated to the “Make Sense” module
+ 18 expert speakers in the field of recruitment
More than 800 students assisted per year in 2 languages (French and English)
1 mentor per student for individual support
1- Progressive coaching and a “Make Sense” module, which are both designed to help students to improve self-awareness and develop a personalized professional path.
2- Students and work-study candidates are offered training to develop their soft skills, identify relevant ads, hold the attention of recruiters, and how to introduce themselves during an interview.
3- Specific actions and individual mentoring are designed to boost a student’s employability.
The “Make Sense” module proposes a pedagogical approach which involves a three-dimensional “Learning / Doing / Checking” strategy so that students can familiarize themselves with a range of methods, tools, and pedagogical knowledge that they can use for themselves.
The workshops are available in French and English and are led by a team of speakers selected by the CareerLab (between 10 and 12 people). These HR experts share their knowledge and insight into the job market and offer workshops on key themes:
The combined activities of the CareerLab Unit and the Corporate Relations Department have made it possible for the ESC’s corporate partners to source their future employees, and accommodate the needs, expectations, and values of both parties: the company and the candidate.
Working directly with the ESC students and business managers has facilitated “matching” companies with potential candidates, based on the know-how, soft skills and specific abilities identified during workshops and individual coaching sessions.
CareerDays, competitions, business cases, company forums,.. The CareerLab workshops, coupled with events organized by the Corporate Relations Department, enable companies to meet their future employees in real life during simulated interviews or job-related workshops.
These events give students the opportunity to meet professionals, discover new sectors and seize great opportunities. Reciprocally, these events allow the professionals present to identify future talent and promote their employer brand!
