[Back to School 2026] Clermont School of Business expands its programme portfolio and strengthens its academic organisation

As the 2026 academic year begins, Clermont School of Business is entering a new stage in its development. The School is rolling out an enhanced Grande École Programme, preparing the evolution of its Bachelor in International Management and the launch of a new work-study specialisation for 2027, while continuing to expand internationally in Marrakech.

This momentum is supported by a strengthened academic organisation and growing attractiveness, notably reflected in the School’s progress in the 2026 SIGEM ranking. A shared ambition underpins these developments: to offer more personalised, professionally oriented and internationally focused pathways, preparing responsible managers capable of navigating major transitions.

In a world where professions are constantly evolving, our responsibility is to give every student the means to fulfil their potential and build a pathway that reflects who they are. The developments launched this year embody this ambition: offering more personalised, more experiential programmes that remain closely connected to the expectations of businesses, in order to educate responsible managers who are open to the world and capable of navigating major transitions.

From 2027, the Bachelor in International Management will enable students to progressively shape their pathway through a wide range of experiences

To respond to changes in the professional world, Clermont School of Business is evolving its Bachelor in International Management, a Bac+3 degree recognised by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and conferring the Licence grade. Through the Build’Up teaching approach, the Bachelor offers a progressive three-stage pathway: acquiring the fundamentals of management, choosing an orientation based on one’s career plans, and then developing professional skills through hands-on experiences in France or internationally.

The first year focuses on discovering the main functions of a business and acquiring solid foundations in management, marketing, finance, law and business administration. It concludes with a Summer School. From the very first year, students can also choose to follow a 100% English-taught pathway.

In the second year, a strategic stage in the programme, students deepen their skills and choose one of three opening tracks: International Management, Business Development & Management, or International Finance. This initial orientation enables them to shape their profile without definitively determining their third-year choice. Students enrolled in the 100% English-taught pathway also benefit from a Fall Semester from the first semester onwards.

The third year, which leads to a degree and, depending on the pathway chosen, potentially a double degree, represents a key milestone. Students can develop their profile through a range of options: work-study, a traditional pathway taught in French or English, a study semester abroad, or an international double degree. Internships, business projects and opportunities to meet professionals further enrich the programme.

This progressive approach enables every student to develop their skills and experience while strengthening their international outlook and employability.

A new work-study specialisation

As part of this momentum, Clermont School of Business will launch a new specialisation, Hospitality, Tourism & Events, in September 2027. Available in the third year of the Bachelor, following a Bac+2, and offered through a work-study format, this programme has been designed in close collaboration with industry professionals. It prepares future managers in hospitality, tourism and events to address the challenges of customer experience, innovation, management and sustainable development, while responding to a rapidly growing sector facing significant recruitment needs.

With this new specialisation, Clermont School of Business will offer, from September 2027, eight specialisations available in the third year of the Bachelor through a work-study format: Business Development, Human Resources, Banking & Insurance, Retail, Hospitality, Tourism & Events, Sport Business, Communication & Media, and Marketing, AI & Performance.

Programme Grande Ecole - Clermont School of Business

A more specialised and professionally oriented Grande École Programme to educate tomorrow’s responsible leaders

This new academic year marks the launch of the enhanced Grande École Programme, rolled out to students for the first time. Recognised at Bac+5 level by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and conferring the Master’s grade, it now offers a more specialised and professionally oriented pathway, aligned with business expectations and the major transitions shaping the world of work.

Its new structure is organised around 8 career tracks in PGE2 (M1) and 18 advanced specialisations in PGE3 (M2). It enables each student to progressively build their expertise, refine their career plans and develop a unique and distinctive profile. The pathway leads to the Grande École Programme degree and a specialisation qualification, complemented by an e-portfolio showcasing the skills acquired.

True to Clermont School of Business’s DNA, the programme is built around Scale’Up, its experiential learning model. It combines a strong academic foundation with learning through action, notably through long-term projects, as well as strong international exposure, work-study opportunities, double degrees and close connections with businesses. Teaching in the humanities and social sciences (HSS) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) also prepares students to become responsible managers capable of navigating major transitions.

Enhanced international opportunities from this academic year

The Marrakech Campus is also expanding its Grande École Programme with the launch of a new advanced specialisation in PGE2 (M2), Tourism and Hospitality Management, integrated into the International Business track. Designed to meet the needs of a strategic sector for the Moroccan economy, this advanced specialisation prepares future managers to navigate transformations in tourism, hospitality and the broader hospitality industry. It builds in particular on a recently signed partnership with Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, an international player in luxury hospitality, giving students first-hand exposure to the realities of the sector and opportunities to work with leading professionals. The programme is fully aligned with Marrakech’s development ambitions as a leading tourist destination.

Strengthened attractiveness and selectivity

A demanding selection process for work-study candidates has been further strengthened. Among preparatory classes, Clermont School of Business has progressed in the 2026 SIGEM ranking.
