Why choose Clermont SB to recruit your apprentice?
Recruiting an apprentice is not simply about integrating a student into a team. For companies, it is also a way to train future employees, anticipate skills needs, and embrace a culture of knowledge transmission. Aware of these challenges, Clermont School of Business has developed a work-study approach designed specifically for companies, positioning itself as a true partner throughout the entire process.
A strategic choice to secure your work-study recruitment
Choosing the right educational institution is a decisive step in the success of a work-study recruitment. It directly impacts the quality of candidates, their ability to adapt to professional requirements, and the level of support provided throughout the contract.
To address these challenges, Clermont School of Business has structured a robust apprenticeship model, with 905 students currently enrolled in work-study programs. The objective is clear: to make apprenticeships a real performance driver for both students and recruiting companies.
Academic excellence that makes the difference
At Clermont School of Business, Bachelor’s programs confer the grade of Licence, while the Programme Grande École awards the grade of Master. These official recognitions provide companies with the assurance of recruiting candidates with a strong and consistent level of expertise. The degrees are accredited and recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space, attesting to the quality of the programs. Concretely, this means they meet demanding academic standards and undergo regular evaluations to guarantee their relevance and rigor.
Beyond certifications, this high standard is reflected directly in the teaching approach. Students are guided by faculty members engaged in research and at the forefront of developments in their fields, as well as by active industry professionals.
This complementary approach combines academic rigor, methodological expertise, and a deep understanding of real-world business environments. It helps develop profiles capable of stepping back, analyzing complex situations, and becoming operational quickly within companies.
Students prepared for professional realities
One of the main challenges for companies is recruiting apprentices who can quickly integrate and understand their environment. At Clermont School of Business, programs are designed with this objective from the outset. Students are regularly immersed in practical situations, work on project-based assignments, and develop key skills such as communication, autonomy, and adaptability.
As a result, apprentices from these programs are generally operational more quickly and can effectively contribute to company projects from the moment they arrive.
Support designed as a service for companies
Recruiting an apprentice requires time and organization. The quality of support provided by the educational institution therefore becomes a key criterion. At Clermont School of Business, relationships with companies are approached as a fully-fledged service: needs analysis, selection of suitable profiles, candidate preparation, and regular follow-up throughout the contract.
This organization helps simplify recruitment and secure the collaboration. Companies benefit from a dedicated contact person capable of understanding their challenges and effectively supporting the apprentice’s professional development.
Personalized support at the heart of apprentice success
While apprentice performance is essential for companies, it also depends on the quality of support students receive throughout their journey. At Clermont School of Business, this balance lies at the core of the School’s approach.
The Companies & Careers Department, composed of a team of 10 professionals, pursues a dual objective: helping students better understand themselves and the job market, while responding precisely to the needs of partner companies. This dual perspective promotes coherent and sustainable recruitment.
In line with this approach, the School also created the position of Professional Experience Coordinator in 2023. The role’s mission is to guarantee the quality of company assignments and the follow-up provided, through the coordination of 80 tutors and the supervision of more than 7,000 hours of individual support each year.
The ambition remains constant: to provide attentive, structured, and human-centered support in order to create a lasting climate of trust for both students and companies.
A wide range of profiles to meet different needs
One of the major strengths of apprenticeships in business schools lies in the diversity of profiles trained. At Clermont School of Business, work-study programs are available at different academic levels, enabling companies to adapt recruitment to their specific needs:
- In Bachelor’s programs (Bachelor +3), over approximately 12 months, students specialize in areas such as business development, banking and insurance, human resources, retail, sport business, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
- In the Programme Grande École (Bachelor +5), over 12 to 24 months, students develop expertise in fields such as finance, marketing, strategy, innovation, and human resources.
This structure allows companies to recruit both junior profiles developing their skills and more advanced students capable of handling strategic assignments.
Apprenticeships: the first step toward a long-term relationship
When properly supported, apprenticeships make it possible to identify high-potential profiles, train them in company methods, and, in many cases, integrate them permanently after graduation.
From this perspective, Clermont School of Business acts as a facilitator. The School helps create the conditions for effective collaboration and embeds recruitment within a long-term vision.
For more than 100 years, Clermont SB has been training talent that is immediately operational and closely connected to local economic realities. Apprenticeships are fully aligned with this dynamic: more than 85% of our candidates secure a work-study position, demonstrating both their employability and the trust recruiters place in us.

Clermont School of Business relies on a network of 620 partner companies. This close relationship with the business world goes far beyond formal partnerships: it translates into regular exchanges and dedicated recruitment events designed to connect companies with students still in training.
The School notably organizes events such as Career Days, the Companies Forum, and thematic conferences, enabling recruiters to meet students directly and promote their companies. These opportunities facilitate the identification of suitable profiles while also strengthening companies’ visibility among students.
