Would you like a position of high responsibility in accounting and finance?

This 24-month specialization course is for you!

A good auditor is not just an accounting professional! The Big 4 are above all looking for employees with a solid technical background as well as the ability to develop essential soft skills, to integrate their teams and take on positions of high responsibility.

This two-year major is not only designed to train future chartered accountants and auditors, but also to prepare students for all financial professions. These functions require versatile people with good interpersonal skills and a critical mind. The course is therefore designed for motivated students who wish to move towards positions of high responsibility in the finance sector in companies or firms.

This course has been offered for more than 10 years by Clermont School of Business and allows students to obtain the equivalence of 5 UE out of 7 of the DSCG (French Chartered Accountant Certification). Today, only 3 business schools offer this course. Students are also prepared for UE 1 and UE 4 of the DSCG.

A 2-year Professional Course

This demanding major prepares students for and enables them to obtain the equivalent of 5 out of 7 DSCG (French Chartered Accountant Certificates) i.e., the maximum number of exam exemptions allowed. In addition, through a concrete approach to the field with practical cases and experience-sharing, students can learn the behavioral skills that are essential to the exercise of these professions.

As a result, students are prepared for the work-study program, which is compulsory during the second year of the program, during which they will reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical experience. A learning schedule adapted to the needs of auditing and accounting firms provides for a continuous period in a company between the end of November and the end of March.

  • 100% of graduates will find a job in less than 6 months, particularly in the Big 4 and large groups.

 

And What About the Future?

Students who have completed this course will be able to complete their training with the full Chartered Accountant Certification (equivalent to 8 years of higher education) :

  • The DEC Diplôme d’Expert-Comptable/ Commissaire aux comptes, chartered accountants, statutory auditors and auditors of firms of all sizes.
  • The diploma provides access to all financial professions in companies (management controller, consolidation, cash management, internal audit).
