Focus on the Master in Management (Programme Grande École)

Accessible after a Bachelor’s degree (3-year undergraduate degree), the Master in Management is a two-year programme structured in two stages: Master 1 and Master 2.

It is designed for students who wish to build strong foundations in management while progressively developing a distinctive professional profile through an advanced specialisation.

Two-Year Excellence Pathway

Master 1: Choosing Your Professional Track
Students select a “professional track” from 8 areas of expertise, allowing them to progressively refine their career goals. This pathway is complemented by a common core curriculum including foreign languages, digital skills, project management, artificial intelligence, humanities and corporate social responsibility.

Master 2: Advanced Specialisation and Professionalisation
In the final year, students deepen their chosen track through advanced specialisation and prepare their Master’s thesis using both quantitative and qualitative research methods. This stage focuses on developing strategic and high-level professional skills.

Track in Strategy, Innovation & Sustainability

The track “Strategy, Innovation & Sustainability” prepares professionals to analyse major ecological, social, and economic transformations, and to support organisations in transitioning towards more responsible and resilient models.

Are you looking to actively contribute to organisational transformation in response to environmental and societal challenges?

This track develops a strategic vision that integrates planetary boundaries, responsible governance, the transformation of work, and the measurement of socio-environmental impact. It provides the tools needed to analyse complex systems, act under uncertainty, and design innovative solutions to contemporary crises.

Building Key Skills in Strategic and Sustainable Transformation

This track aims to train managers capable of embedding sustainability challenges at the core of strategic decision-making.

By the end of the programme, students will be able to:
  • design sustainable strategies and business models,
  • structure responsible governance frameworks,
  • measure and analyse socio-environmental impact,
  • lead ecological and social transformation projects,
  • engage stakeholders in complex environments.

A Two-Year Structured Track

The track is structured over two years, enabling students to progress from the fundamentals of sustainable strategy to more forward-looking and systemic approaches.

Master 1– Fundamentals of Sustainable Strategy

The first year provides students with the tools required to integrate ecological and societal challenges into organisational strategy.

Students develop a systemic understanding of ongoing transitions and acquire the tools to rethink business models, structure responsible governance, and measure organisational impact. The objective is to lay the foundations for strategic thinking aligned with contemporary environmental and social challenges.

Modules include:

  • designing sustainable strategies and business models,
  • building responsible governance systems,
  • managing human resources in the context of ecological and societal transitions,
  • measuring, analysing, and managing impact.

Master 2– Advanced Specialisation in Transformation and Innovation

Sustainable Transformation of Organisations

This advanced specialisation represents a further step in building strategic expertise in sustainability. It deepens prospective, organisational, and systemic dimensions of sustainable transformation, fully integrating issues of uncertainty, resilience, and innovation.

Students develop key skills to analyse complex environments, model systems, make strategic decisions under constraints, and design new management tools adapted to ecological and societal transitions.

Modules include:
– modelling infrastructures,
– making decisions under uncertainty,
– prototyping new management tools,
– imagining alternative organisational models,
– analysing major societal debates,
– implementing ambitious and responsible CSR strategies.

From Strategy to Sustainable Innovation

Upon completion of the track Strategy, Innovation & Sustainability, students will have developed key competencies enabling them to support and lead sustainable transformation within organisations.

They will be able to:

  • analyse complex and uncertain environments,
  • integrate planetary boundaries and societal challenges into strategy,
  • design responsible and innovative business models,
  • lead sustainable transformation projects,
  • assess and communicate socio-environmental impact,
  • support organisational change.

Career Opportunities

This track leads to strategic roles in companies, consulting firms, and public or regional organisations.

Career paths include:
  • Sustainable Strategy Consultant
  • Transformation or Management Innovation Consultant
  • CSR Manager
  • Ecological Transition Project Officer
  • Impact Analyst (LCA / ESG)
  • Foresight Analyst
  • Innovation or Transition Project Manager (public / private sector)
  • Responsible Governance Consultant

Who is this track for?

This track is designed for students interested in strategic challenges related to ecological, social, and economic transitions. It is particularly suited to those who wish to pursue impactful roles at the heart of organisational transformation.

In short, this track is for you if:
  • you want to integrate sustainability challenges into organisational strategy,
