Applying for International Mobility

Are you a student at Clermont School of Business and wish to spend a semester or a full academic year at one of our partner universities? Discover the key steps below to successfully carry out your mobility project!

Two key words: anticipation and organization

Regardless of the program followed, going abroad is subject to certain academic and linguistic criteria, particularly the results obtained in language tests (TOEFL, Spanish tests, etc.). The International Relations Office will assist you in validating your project and the procedures to follow to meet all the necessary conditions for the success of your international experience.

STEP 1: INFORMATION SESSIONS

At the beginning of each year or semester, information sessions are offered to students in various programs. The list of destinations is reviewed annually and is not fixed over time.

STEP 2: PREPARING THE APPLICATION FOR INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE

The list of destinations, deadlines, and departure conditions are sent to students via email by the International Relations Office.

To submit an application for an international departure, please complete the application form before the deadline indicated by the International Relations Office. Once the application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.

STEP 3: COMMISSION DECISION

A Commission, composed of the International Relations Office, faculty advisors, and Program Directors, reviews each complete application after the submission deadline.

Three commissions are held annually: in February, June, and September. Students who meet all selection criteria are offered a choice of destination via email by the Commission.

STEP 4: NOMINATION

Once the student accepts the choice of destination, the International Relations Office of Clermont School of Business sends the list of selected student(s) to the partner institution for the study period abroad.

STEP 5: APPLICATION TO PARTNER UNIVERSITIES

Applications to partner universities are done online or through the International Relations Office, respecting the deadlines.

Note: The partner university reserves the right to accept or reject student applications. Once the student confirms their choice of destination, it is no longer possible to apply to a second institution.

STEP 6: ACCEPTANCE LETTER

All students accepted by a partner university receive an acceptance letter. This original acceptance letter is required for the visa application and for entering or exiting certain countries.

Note: We advise students not to incur any expenses before receiving this acceptance letter.

STEP 7: PRE-DEPARTURE MAIL

Alongside the acceptance letter, the International Relations Office sends selected students additional information useful for preparing their departure.

Our Students Share Their Experiences in “Va Voir Ailleurs Si j’Étudie”

The web series “Va voir ailleurs si j’étudie” allows you to discover the daily lives of students who have gone abroad to study as part of their journey at Clermont School of Business. Take advantage of this format to envision yourself by diving into the heart of some of our partner universities, accompanied by an exchange student and Jessica Pommier, a travel blogger and a 2012 graduate of the School.
