Rajarshi Majumder is a Professor at Clermont School of Business. His research explores self-other biases, specifically how consumers’ beliefs and predictions about others’ choices and preferences diverge from their own, and how this shapes decision-making in domains such as inflation perception, advice-taking, social plan cancellation, and lay beliefs regarding the use of AI in creative work. He primarily uses experimental methods to investigate these questions. His research has been published in journals such as Judgment and Decision Making.
Before academia, he worked as a Sales and Marketing Engineer at Parker Hannifin India.
