The Advantages of the Bachelor in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Management

The Bachelor in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Management at Clermont School of Business is a three-year undergraduate programme designed to prepare students for global careers in digital marketing and online business. Our degree is officially recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space, ensuring strong academic quality and national recognition. Clermont School of Business holds prestigious international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, and EFMD) and is part of a network of leading higher education institutions, further enhancing the global value and recognition of the programme.

Accessible after secondary school, our three-year programme covers all aspects of digital marketing and e-commerce. It is highly professionalised and includes an international dimension from the first year. Students will acquire all the technical skills, digital culture and essential certifications required to thrive in the fields of digital marketing and e-commerce.

This programme offers a comprehensive study pathway including practical immersion in the digital ecosystem and international environments, professional experience, the possibility of specialisation (E-Commerce or Digital Marketing), and the development of soft skills.

At the end of the three-year programme, students may either enter the workforce or continue their studies through the Master in Management (Programme Grande École), a university Master’s degree, or an international Master’s programme.

The third year is taught entirely in English and is open to students who have completed two years of undergraduate business studies.

Programme Objectives:

The programme aims to train versatile digital professionals capable of thriving in a wide range of organisations – SMEs, agencies and large corporations – where digital transformation is central to business development. Students will learn to:

  • Design and implement digital marketing strategies
  • Engage and manage online communities across social media platforms
  • Master e-commerce tools and techniques to acquire and retain customers

Programme Structure, Teaching & Assessment

1st Year: Discovery (60 ects credits)

During the first year of the programme, you will engage in project-based learning from the outset and follow a range of modules, including Digital Marketing & Communication Strategy, Digital Culture, Fundamentals of Agile Methodology, Introduction to E-commerce, as well as public speaking. You will explore the business environment and its various career paths within an international setting. This is also the ideal year to become fully involved in the School’s student societies.

2nd Year: First Choices (60 ects credits)

In the second year, you will refine your career plans and choose between two specialisations: Digital Marketing or E-commerce. Numerous supervised projects will structure the year, enabling you to apply your theoretical knowledge in practical contexts.

3rd Year: Takeoff (60 ects credits)

In the third year, you can choose between the classic track, the Digital Marketing & E-commerce Manager track, or the work-study track:

  • Classic track: you will spend six months studying abroad at one of our partner institutions, followed by a six-month internship upon your return.
  • Digital Marketing & E-commerce Manager track: you will follow a programme taught entirely in English, including modules such as Business Ethics, Personal Branding, and Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence.
  • Work-study track: you will alternate between periods in a company and periods of study at the School. You may specialise in roles such as Digital Communication Assistant, E-commerce Manager, Retail Manager, or Sports Business Developer.

Year 1 – Digital Study Tour
Take part in an international study trip to a European capital, where you will engage with leading digital businesses and ecosystems.

The Bachelor in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Management welcomes applications for Year 1, Year 2 or Year 3, depending on your academic background.

1/ ENTRY TO YEAR 1 (programme taught in French)

International applicants must hold a qualification recognised as equivalent to the French Baccalaureate, as well as a DELF B2 certificate or equivalent.

2/ ENTRY TO YEAR 2 (programme taught in French)

International applicants must have successfully completed one year of higher education and hold a TOEFL iBT score of 80 or an equivalent French language proficiency certificate.

3/ ENTRY TO YEAR 3 (programme taught in English)

International applicants must have successfully completed two years of higher education and hold a TOEFL iBT score of 80 or an equivalent English language proficiency certificate.

4/ APPLICATION PROCEDURE

What You Need to Know About Tuition Fees

A wide range of services is included in your tuition fees.

Annual tuition fee: €8,500 (standard track), excluding the third-year work-study track, for which tuition fees are covered by the employer.

Fees include:
