There are many student residences located in Clermont that are managed by the CROUS, a French public organization. In order to have access to these residences, students must submit a file comprising various documents so that CROUS can check the financial situation of both students and their parents. Places are limited.

The Corum Saint-Jean is a non-profit association which offers several residences with rooms, shared flats and furnished studios from 91€ per month* with breakfast included.

Foyer le Phare

It is an accommodation and service structure aimed at young people between 16 and 30 years of age. Most of the accommodation consists of 2 or 3 single rooms in shared flats. All rooms are locked and furnished.

The monthly total includes:

• accommodation all charges included,
• breakfast from Monday to Saturday and one meal a day from Monday to Friday.
• A 12€ administration fee applies to the signature of a resident’s contract.

While Visale greatly simplifies the housing search, it does not replace home insurance, which remains mandatory. Home insurance protects tenants against risks such as fires, water damage, or theft, and must be taken out as soon as the tenant moves into the property.
