The Advantages of the Bachelor in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Management

The Bachelor in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Management at Clermont School of Business, an accredited school by AACSB, AMBA, and EFMD Bachelor, a member of CGE, CDEFM, and part of the Alliance Université Clermont Auvergne, is a Bac+3 degree – Bachelor’s degree awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR).

Accessible after high school, it is a 3-year program that covers all aspects of digital marketing and e-commerce, highly professionalized with an international dimension from the first year. It allows students to acquire all the technical skills, digital culture, and essential certifications to thrive in the fields of digital marketing and e-commerce.

This program offers a comprehensive study path that includes practical immersion in the digital ecosystem and abroad, professional experiences, the possibility of specialization (E-Commerce, Digital Marketing), and the development of soft skills.

At the end of the 3 years, students can choose between entering the workforce or continuing their studies in a Master’s program.

The 3rd year courses are taught 100% in English and it is accessible to students who completed 2-years undegraduate business studies.

The objectives:

Transforming into a versatile digital expert to excel in diverse organizational settings. (SMEs, agencies, large enterprises…) where the digital challenge has become crucial for business development:

  • Implementing digital marketing strategies.
  • Engaging and managing communities on social media platforms.
  • Mastering e-commerce techniques to acquire new customers.

In 3 years, you will have:

  • Acquired solid skills through a participative and project-oriented pedagogy, along with the validation of 7 professional certifications [Hubspot (Inbound Marketing + Content Marketing) / Google / Google Ads (Search Certification + Measurement Certification) / Google Analytics / TOSA] & 2 language certifications (Voltaire & TOEIC),
  • Built professional experience through internship or apprenticeship periods,
  • Experienced at least 2 international immersions (Digital Study Tour & Fall Semester in Lisbon).

Program, Pedagogy & Assessments

1st Year: Discovery (60 ects credits)

In the first year, you will engage in project-based work right from the start and take various modules such as Digital Marketing & Communication Strategy, Digital Culture, Fundamentals of Agile Methodology, Introduction to E-commerce, as well as courses on public speaking, etc. You’ll explore the business world and its professions, all within an international environment. It’s also the ideal year to fully immerse yourself in the school’s student associations.

2nd Year: First Choices (60 ects credits)

In the second year, you’ll refine your professional project and choose between two specializations: Digital Marketing or E-Commerce. Numerous supervised projects will punctuate this year, allowing you to put your theoretical knowledge into practice.

3rd Year: Takeoff (60 ects credits)

In the third year, you can choose between the classic track, the digital marketing and e-commerce manager track, or the apprenticeship track:

  • If you choose the classic track, you’ll study abroad for 6 months at one of our partner institutions and then follow it up with a 6-month internship upon your return.
  • If you choose the digital marketing and e-commerce manager track, you’ll take 100% English courses such as Business Ethics, Personal Branding, Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence, etc.
  • If you opt for the apprenticeship track, you’ll alternate between periods in the company and training periods at the school. You can choose from specializations like Digital Communication Assistant, E-Commerce Manager, Retail Manager, Sport Business Developer, etc.

The Bachelor’s in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Management is accessible in the first year, second year, or third year, depending on your situation.

1/ ENTRY TO YEAR 1 (instruction exclusively in French)

International candidates must hold a diploma recognised as equivalent to the French Baccalaureate, and a DELF B2 or equivalent.

2/ ENTRY TO YEAR 2

International candidates must have validated 1 year of higher education, and a TOEFL IBT score of 80 or equivalent.

3/ ENTRY TO YEAR 3 (instruction available in English)

International candidates must have validated 2 years of higher education, and a TOEFL IBT score of 80 or equivalent.

Annual Tuition Fee of : €7,900 in the traditional format excluding the third-year work-study program where tuition fees are covered by the company
