Fatma MRAD holds a PhD in Finance from the École supérieure de commerce at the University of Manouba in Tunisia, where she was a member of the Centre de Recherche en gestion innovante, comptabilité et finance. She has also made research visits to renowned research institutions, such as the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, where she was appointed research fellow during the 2017-2020 period.
In her research, Fatma MRAD focuses on complex issues related to corporate finance, financial decisions and environmental sustainability. Her research has been presented at numerous international conferences and published in leading scientific journals, such as Finance Research Letters and Research in International Business and Finance. Fatma MRAD has also been the main organiser of several international conferences and workshops.
In addition to her research activities, Fatma MRAD has extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level, particularly in the fields of corporate finance and financial analysis.
